KUKA ROBOT EXPERIMENTS
Projection Mapping by Obscura - Obscura Headquarters, San Francisco
Role: Design / Animation
Obscura collaborated with Kuka's program, which facilitated the loan of robots for artistic exploration. This collaboration sparked a series of experimental endeavors at Obscura, where we focused on exploring the technical possibilities of integrating a projector with the robot for real-time dynamic mapping and projection of geometric objects. Furthermore, we investigated the artistic potential by attaching a 3D printed face to the robot and mapping a captivating 3D animated face onto it. These innovative experiments yielded intriguing visual interactions that pushed the boundaries of the intersection between art and robotics.
